While it may be stretching the definition of a 'donut shop,' Seven Stars Bakery's Kouign Amann is described as one of the best pastries in Rhode Island — a crème brûlée muffin crossed with a croissant that's crunchy and sweet on the outside and soft on the inside. This artisan bakery has two Providence locations and produces exceptional breads, croissants, and pastries alongside their famous Kouign Amann. Available only on Wednesdays and Sundays, and when they're gone, they're gone. Multiple locations make them accessible across Providence.
