Hero Doughnuts & Buns started as a humble popup at local farmers' markets before opening a small Homewood storefront in 2017 and exploding into a multi-state phenomenon. Their HUGE French brioche doughnuts are unlike anything else in Birmingham — rich, buttery, and topped with creative flavor combinations that have earned them a spot on the Drew Barrymore Show. But Hero is more than donuts: their Super Crunch Chicken Sandwich and brioche bun burgers make it a legitimate all-day restaurant. Now with four Birmingham-area locations and expansion into Atlanta and Charleston.
